Screamers begins in the year 2078 on the mining planet, Sirius 6B and the ending of a long nuclear war between the Alliance and the NEB’s. Now the NEB’s want peace and Alliance leader Colonel Joseph Hendrickson (Peter Weller) and another solider named Ace Jefferson (Andrew Lauer) travel across the war ravaged plains. However once they arrive at NEB headquarters, Hendrickson discovers that the opposition has been just about wiped out by the ‘Screamers’, an abandoned mining project of crazed robots who borrow under the group. However the Screamers have evolved into different models with a new top secret one under way. The Screamers have just learned to mimic humans in every detail.
