During the time after a terrible war in the future, a military academy located in outer-space is attacked. The unknown and therefore unstoppable alien attackers surprise the academy. A group of new cadets and the commander (Wes Studi) of the academy escape. They arrive at a large research station. The aliens pursue them. Just then the station cruises through a hyperspace gateway, that no one knows what it is. They are sent to another planet in the unknown, undiscovered parts of the universe. The mystery of that their futures hold lays in the far off future, the characters have no idea when or if they’ll return to Earth.
